Cameron's Newark Academy Photo Blog

Portrait For this project, I took pictures of aspiring models, Ethan Polen and Taylor Weeks. We took pictures around the school and in the school courtyards. I learned how to  take portraits and I also learned how to take pictures from different angles to get the best shot. We also practiced taking photos on manual focus which is much harder. I think that it was a very successful shoot and both models were happy with their images.

IB Dancers in New York           On Tuesday, October 1st, 9th-grade photo, 9th-grade film making, and IB dance went on a field trip to New York. Our task was to photograph the dancers and motion to learn more about how to take good photos. We used props and the composition of the dancers clothes to take pictures with the background. We walked on the New York Highline, an old elevated train rail in use until the 90s that was converted into a walkway with beautiful architecture and nature.
